Samuel White, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 2023. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the San Francisco State University in 2019.
Dr. White sees patients of all ages, specializing in Primary Eye Care, Contact Lens Fitting, and Ocular Disease treatment and management. He has always had a passion for helping people. As a child and the son of an Optometrist, he dreamt about working with the public in a healthcare setting, offering support to those who need it. As a third-year psychology undergraduate student, Dr. White took a Neuropsychology course. During that semester, he spent a few weeks discussing perception and the interaction between the brain and eyes. Dr. White found it to be fascinating and decided to research careers in eye care. He says his favorite part of being an optometrist is the ability to change people’s lives, something that will never lose its splendor.
When not seeing patients, Dr. White can be found spending time with his fiancé, cooking, watching baseball, and finding small antique stores throughout the New England area.
Paul Levine, O.D., FIAOMC, FAAO, received his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 1997. He graduated with Honors as a four-year Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society member. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1992.
Dr. Levine completed a one-year residency in Primary Care Optometry at the South Boston Community Health Center in conjunction with the Boston Medical Center. Additionally, he completed internships at the FDR VA Hospital in Montrose, New York, Dorchester House Clinic, South Boston Community Health Center, and New England Eye Institute’s Pediatric and Binocular Vision Specialty Clinic.
Dr. Levine has a particular interest in Orthokeratology (OrthoK). OrthoK is the science of reshaping the eye’s cornea without surgery to improve vision and virtually eliminate the need for daytime contact lenses and glasses. Dr. Levine is certified to perform Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT) and Vision Shaping Treatment (VST). He is also a certified WAVE designer. WAVE lenses are custom-made to fit your eyes perfectly, as no two lenses are alike. WAVE designs can be spherical, toric, multifocal, and customized orthokeratology. Dr. Levine is the only certified WAVE designer in MetroWest. He actively practices myopia control and specializes in difficult-to-fit contact lenses, including scleral and gas-permeable ones.
Dr. Levine is a Fellow of the International Academy of Orthokeratology and myopia control (IAOMC). He is president of the board of directors of the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control, the US affiliate of the IAOMC. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO), a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists, the American Optometric Association, and Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.
When not treating patients, Dr. Levine is a big sports fan (provided the teams are from New England). He dedicates his free time to his family and enjoys a good sushi meal. He enjoys golf and playing guitar. A Massachusetts native, he resides in Franklin with his wife, Hilary, son Micah, daughter Shea, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Rusty.

Dr. John has also served on the Suffolk Superior Court Medical Malpractice Tribunal. He lectures extensively to optometrists, educators, occupational therapists, and other groups on how Behavioral Optometry helps people in their daily lives.
Dr. John specializes in vision-related learning problems and is certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy, where contact lenses are used to reshape the cornea as an alternative to eyeglasses or LASIK.
Dr. John is a 30-year American Optometric Association member and a clinical associate of the Optometric Extension Program (OEP), the national organization of Behavioral Optometrists. He is board certified in Vision Therapy as a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD).
